Cup of Good Hope! The recently concluded FIFA World Cup in South Africa was not only the biggest sporting event on earth, but if we ponder more, we can draw a lot of similarity with life itself. Few Observations that we have made: Goal: This is usually a missing part in our lives. But if we set a goal, we can work towards achieving it. Passion: To live a fulfilling life we need passion Disappointment: We are sometimes disappointed in life because we don't get what we want Pain: There's so much pain when you are hit in the field while playing. All of us go through such pain in life. Victory: In the end there is victory if we stay focused Positivity: The losing team on the field is always looking for that one goal. If we staty positive in life, we too keep moving towards our goal. Not giving up: Till the last whistle is blown, the match is not over. If the team gives up in the middle the match is already lost. In life too we need to keep going no matter what the situation is. Anger: We get to see this a lot in the football field. Anger is also a part of our everyday emotional encounter. We feel anger and frustration in life too. |
